The will of St. John Xenos
"In the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, I designate and bid, will and order all people that I wish all the monasteries and churches I founded and built by the grace of God, and all moveable and fixed estate I dedicated thereto, to be under the authority of the Virgin Mary of Myriokephala until the end of this world, without any dispute whatsoever... On this 20th day in the month of September, Anno Creationis Mundi 6536, Anno Domini 1027".
