The portal from the katholikon in the Franciscan friary is now immured in the courthouse building, forming the main entrance on Dikeosinis St.

During excavation work carried out in the courtyard of the Archaeological Museum for the new extension, architectural remnants belonging to monastery buildings came to light, as well as fully intact crypts.
