Religion
Greek divinities were worshipped on Crete from the Creto-Mycenaean period onwards. That being said, several features of cults and religious beliefs of a distinctly Minoan type continued to exist in parallel. A typical example of this was Olympian Zeus - on the island he merged with Zeus Cretogenes ("Cretan-born Zeus").
