Of the two barrel-vaulted naves, the north is dedicated to the Virgin Mary Pandanassa of the Presentation, and the south to St. Minas. A typical example of a gothic window dating from the first period of the church, pre-1753, is preserved in the north nave.

The icon screen, which is covered in gold leaf and divided by small columns, is a magnificent example of church wood carving, particularly in the nave dedicated to the Virgin Mary, and has exquisite 17th icons by Georgios Kastrofylakas.

Those icons that have survived are works of high artistic merit by 18th century Cretan painters.

Though most of the church's relics have been destroyed, several are now kept in the St. Catherine's museum collection.
