The restored Loggia and armoury building now house municipal services. The first floor features a specially designed council chamber with appropriate decor and furnishings, which is used for meetings and official functions. The renovation efforts made over the years were crowned in 1987, with an award from the Europa Nostra international heritage organisation for the most successful restoration and use of a historic building in Greece.
